SK Hynix Announces a Record-Breaking 1870% Performance Bonus

On January 22, SK Hynix, South Korea's second-largest semiconductor manufacturer, announced that it would distribute a performance bonus equivalent to 1870% of employees' base salaries. This bonus, amounting to nearly 18.7 months' salary, represents the highest performance bonus ever awarded by SK Hynix. The bonus consists of 1000% of the base salary, a 450% special bonus, a 300% production reward, and a 120% settlement special reward. At a labor-management joint meeting held on January 20, the company coordinated the payment rate for the excess profit performance bonus (PS). After the plan was confirmed and approved by a union member vote, the bonuses will be officially distributed on January 24.
