XC7S50-2CSGA324C Spartan-7 FPGA
The XC7S50-2CSGA324C, a cost-optimized member of the Spartan-7 FPGA family from Xilinx, is housed in a 324-ball 0.8mm pitch Chip Scale Package (CSGA324), engineered to deliver a balanced mix of logic density, power efficiency and system integration for a wide range of embedded vision, IoT gateway and industrial control applications. Fabricated on a 28nm low-power process, this FPGA integrates 52,160 logic cells, 8,200 slices, 2,700 Kbits of fast block RAM and 120 DSP slices with 18x25 multipliers, providing ample resources for implementing moderate-complexity digital signal processing and control algorithms while maintaining a typical static power consumption as low as 25 mW.
Its key features include five clock management tiles (CMTs) each containing a mixed-mode clock manager (MMCM) and a phase-locked loop (PLL) for flexible clock synthesis, 150 user I/O pins supporting a wide range of single-ended and differential I/O standards up to 1.25 Gbps per lane, and an integrated analog-to-digital converter (XADC) with dual 12-bit 1MSPS ADCs for on-chip monitoring of voltage and temperature. Rated for industrial-grade (I) temperature range of -40°C to 100°C junction temperature, it operates from a 1.0V core voltage with selectable I/O bank voltages from 1.2V to 3.3V, supports configuration via SPI flash, JTAG or master serial modes, and is widely deployed in automotive driver assistance systems, industrial motor control, machine vision cameras, communication infrastructure and aerospace/defense systems that demand reliable performance, low power and cost-effectiveness in harsh environments.
