VNH7100BASTR is an active AEC-Q100 qualified fully integrated automotive H-bridge brushed DC motor driver developed by STMicroelectronics under VIPower M0 technology, shipped in tape-and-reel 16-SOIC ECOPACK surface-mount packaging optimized for mass SMT assembly, fully RoHS3 compliant with MSL 3 moisture sensitivity rating, supporting wide 4 V to 28 V vehicle supply voltage and delivering 15 A continuous peak output current, rated for junction temperature range of -40 °C to 150 °C. It equipped with 3 V CMOS-compatible logic input pins for direct MCU connection, integrated dual high-side and low-side power MOSFETs with typical 100 mΩ channel on-resistance, built-in MultiSense multi-functional diagnostic pin, low 1 µA standby quiescent current, and configurable full-bridge or independent half-bridge operation for flexible bidirectional motor speed and brake control via PWM signals up to 20 kHz switching frequency.
