UCC28C43DR BiCMOS Current-Mode PWM Controller
The UCC28C43DR is a high-performance, low-power current-mode PWM controller designed for a wide range of power supply applications. It is an enhanced BiCMOS version of the industry-standard UCx84xA family, offering improved efficiency and performance. This PWM Controller supports multiple topologies, including boost, flyback, and forward converters, making it versatile for various power management needs.
The UCC28C43DR features a wide input voltage range of 7.6V to 18V and operates with a maximum switching frequency of up to 1 MHz. It offers a maximum duty cycle of 96%, ensuring high efficiency in power conversion. The PWM Controller has a low startup current of 50µA and a maximum operating current of 2.3mA at 52kHz, minimizing power consumption. It includes fast cycle-by-cycle overcurrent limiting (35ns) and a peak driving current of ±1A.   The UCC28C43DR also features a ±1% accurate 2.5V error amplifier reference and trimmed oscillator discharge current for precise control. It is available in an 8-pin SOIC package, which minimizes board space.
