TheSTV0674T100 is a co-processor from STMicroelectronics designed for digital imaging applications and is perfectly compatible with STMicroelectronics' CMOS imaging sensor family. It is not only a VVGA resolution SmOP (Small Optical Package) sensor module that integrates an image sensor and a fixed focal length lens, but also integrates the image sensor with the lens system in a compact module through advanced packaging technology, which is easy to mount directly to the PCB via a socket or flexible connection. Standard reflow soldering processes are supported when socket connections are used, increasing productivity and reliability. This co-processor module not only supports VGA (640x480) or CIF (352x288) resolution CMOS sensors, but also built-in hardware color processing and JPEG compression capabilities, capable of processing high-quality still images and video data, and wired video transmission via USB interface. In addition, it also supports simultaneous capture of video and audio for PC and MacOS (under development), bringing users a richer multimedia experience.
