The BTS4175SGA is a single-channel smart high-side power switch from Infineon Technologies (Classic PROFET family), integrating an N-channel vertical power MOSFET with charge pump, full protective functions, and diagnostic feedback in a PG-DSO-8-24 package. Fit for both 12V and 24V automotive electrical systems, this AEC-Q100 qualified device operates from a 6V to 52V supply range with overvoltage clamp protection up to 62V, delivering 1.3A nominal load current through a 350mΩ maximum on-state resistance at 150°C junction temperature. The monolithic smart power switch provides comprehensive protection against short circuit, overload, overtemperature, overvoltage (including load dump), reverse battery, loss of ground, and ESD, while offering diagnostic feedback via an open-drain ST pin for open-load, thermal shutdown, and current-limitation status, targeting relay, 5W lamp, and LED loads in harsh automotive environments over -40°C to +150°C operation.
