The device integrates second-order sigma-δ analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital integrators, reference circuits, temperature sensors, and all necessary signal processing functions to perform active, reactive, and apparent power measurements and root-mean-square (RMS) calculations. The ADE7758ARWZRL is suitable for electrical energy measurement in a variety of three-phase configurations, such as three - and four-wire WYE or DELTA services, and provides system calibration for each phase.
