Renesas Raises Prices Again This Year: New Prices Take Effect in 2027

Renesas Electronics, a major power semiconductor manufacturer, issued its second price increase letter of the year, announcing necessary baseline price adjustments. The revised prices will officially take effect on January 1, 2027. This price increase comes only half a year after the previous adjustment. In March this year, Renesas had already issued a price increase notice, which was implemented starting July 1.
It is worth noting that this notice did not announce a uniform increase rate. Prices for specific part numbers must be obtained through account managers or authorized distribution channels. The new rule explicitly applies to orders on hand shipped on or after January 1, 2027, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
