L9369‑TR Automotive EPB Dual H-Bridge Pre-Driver
L9369‑TR is an AEC-Q100 qualified dedicated integrated pre-driver chip designed exclusively for automotive electric parking brake (EPB) systems by STMicroelectronics, packaged in 64-LQFP surface-mount tape-and-reel housing with RoHS Ecopack2 compliance and MSL3 rating for automated vehicle-grade SMT assembly. This robust chassis safety IC supports wide supply voltage from 3.4V up to 32V, operating reliably across an extreme industrial-automotive temperature range of -40°C to +175°C, built around two independent H-bridge gate drive stages that control eight external N-channel power MOSFETs to actuate rear-wheel brake motors for cable puller or motor gear unit EPB architectures. It integrates signal acquisition, diagnostic, communication and auxiliary drive circuitry into a single compact device, engineered with ISO26262 functional safety architecture and dual bandgap voltage references to deliver stable, fault-monitored motor control for passenger and commercial vehicle brake subsystems.
L9369‑TR ST H-bridge pre-driver Applications
It acts as the core control and drive IC for automotive electric parking brake modules in sedans, SUVs and light commercial vehicles, supporting both cable-driven EPB and integrated motor gear unit brake actuator setups, while also serving auxiliary chassis tasks such as brake status indicator LED driving, actuator position sensing, and fault communication with vehicle body control ECUs in safety-critical braking systems requiring high-temperature endurance and certified functional safety performance.
