ATMEGA8A-AU is a low-power CMOS 8-bit microcontroller based on AVR enhanced RISC architecture, which belongs to the low-power, high-performance ATmega series. The microcontroller has a built-in 8-bit RISC CPU up to 20MHz and a wealth of peripherals and interfaces, making it ideal for use in a variety of embedded system designs. The ATMEGA8A-AU provides 8KB of in-system programmable Flash memory for storing program code, as well as 1KB of SRAM and 512-byte EEPROM for data storage and caching. In addition, it also has additional features such as watchdog timer and real-time clock to enhance system reliability and flexibility. ATMEGA8A-AU microcontrollers are very popular in embedded system design because of their high performance, low power consumption and flexibility.
