The ATMEGA128L-8AU is a Microchip (formerly Atmel) 8-bit AVR RISC microcontroller housed in a 64-pin TQFP (14 mm x 14 mm) surface-mount package. As the low-voltage (L) 8 MHz (8) member of the ATmega128 family, it integrates 128 KB of in-system self-programmable Flash organized as 64 K x 16, 4 KB of EEPROM, and 4 KB of internal SRAM, while drawing its core power from a wide 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply that makes the device equally at home in 3.3 V and 5 V embedded systems. With 53 programmable I/O lines, an internal calibrated RC oscillator, and a rich set of interfaces that include EBI/EMI, I2C (TWI), SPI, and two USARTs, the ATMEGA128L-8AU delivers a well-balanced combination of code density, data storage, and peripheral connectivity for control-centric designs that do not need a 32-bit core.
